About Us

Our Story
Step into nostalgia with us at our theatre-turned-coffee house. With a vision to bring the building back to life, Shannon and Devyn have worked tirelessly to preserve the memories of our guests' childhoods. As you walk up the stairs and through the large theatre doors, you'll be transported to a time gone by. Our quaint and cozy atmosphere at '68 Coffee House offers specialty coffees and delicious home-cooked meals, just like your mom or grandma used to make. Indulge in the aroma of fresh bread, bubbling soup, or a freshly baked cinnamon bun waiting to be devoured.
We prioritize healthy and fresh choices, so you can enjoy your meal guilt-free. Come join us for a truly unique experience, unlike anything else in town!
Dreamland Theatre
Dreamland Theatre opened at the top of Centre Street in 1950 in Rockglen, SK. The historic theatre served as a destination for families in southeast Saskatchewan to view classic movies and events.

The Pyle Family managed the building for two generations, after which it was owned and operated by a few others. In 2020, it was purchased and transformed into a Spin Studio/Fitness Center, with the main theatre retaining its original theatre seats and sound system. Additionally, the side addition, constructed in 1980, was reborn as a coffee house/bistro in the same year.

Patio
Sip on a cup of coffee or tea, indulge in a light snack or lunch while unwinding on our charming patio. Our peaceful spot, complete with a water feature and fire table, is the perfect destination for unwinding, catching up on reading, socializing with friends, or recovering after a workout session.
